Paintings > GALLERY 2: "THE CITY: URBAN IMPRESSIONS"

I spent much of my professional life living and working in New York City. The architecture, energy, and constant visual stimulation of the city became part of my creative vocabulary. Those impressions continue to find their way into my paintings. These works are not depictions of specific places. Rather, they are urban impressions—memories, fragments, and visual echoes of city life filtered through color, intuition, and invention. Although these images could belong to almost any city, New York is never very far away. They are less about geography than experience, capturing something of the rhythm, complexity, and mystery of urban life.
