LAND... CITY... SKY... SEA...
Following a decades-long pursuit of ideas in the highly competitive world of advertising in New York City as an Art Director and Creative Director, I began to devote my creativity exclusively to painting.
I had studied Fine Arts at Cornell University and the Philadelphia Museum College of Art where I received a BFA degree.
Post-Ad World, I enrolled in painting classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Ringling College of Art and Design, and studio courses with artist Kassem Amoudi at the Main Line and Wayne art centers in suburban Philadelphia. I found the continuing education and inspiration to be invaluable while I embarked on my new journey.
My style continues to evolve in a variety of directions. I am equally interested in the gritty textures of the city as I am in the calming rhythms and beauty of nature. One consistent element is the energetic use of joyous color.
Many of the paintings here are in collections elsewhere, but others are available. I paint almost every day and try to update my website frequently, so visit often to see the latest work.
